History of The Heirloom Shop
Twenty-four years ago, June 4, l985 The Heirloom Shop opened its doors on Bandywood Dr. in Nashville, TN. A year later The Heirloom Shop relocated to Carter's Court when it re-opened after being closed for a time.Three years later we found a permanent home at 404 Main St. where we enjoyed immediate success even though Streetscape began the next year and continued for 18 months.
Through the years we felt that The Heirloom Shop was a business that was very much needed in Franklin. Even though we never felt that we were a Christmas Shop, most everyone considered us as "The Christmas Shop" because of the great Christmas lines we carried, such as Department 56, Byers' Choice Carolers, Christopher Radko, Old World Christmas and Fontanini to name a few. Throughout the rest of the year we also have other lines suitable for gifts and decorative accessories. We are continuing to look for new and better lines all the time and adding some fabulous new ones which are going to be great!
